- Current Job Openings - Classifications for which CALPIA is currently accepting applications. Any candidate who meets the minimum qualifications may apply for these exams. You do not have to be a current State employee.
- Career Executive Assignment Exams
- Promotional Exams - Current CALPIA employees only
- Demonstration Exams - demonstration project for classifications designated M12 and S12 within CALPIA

CALPIA hires according to civil service system rules that require that vacancies be filled using eligibility lists created as a result of civil service examinations. All non-state employees must compete in an examination and attain list eligibility in order to be considered for vacant positions.
